Business names are often an easy conversation starter at awkward networking events, but what do you do when your name doesn't align?

Re-naming and re-aligning the target market 

Simply Gold Coast was formerly named VFM Property Advisors - an acronym for Value For Money.

VFM helps affluent investors and families purchase property’s starting at $1M on the Gold Coast Australia. Value for Money made sense when explained, but didn't align with the desired brand perception. With no integration into the brand story, there was no way for clients to connect the philosophy with the name. 

Eva and Tony were already hugely successful in their business, yet they wanted to attract more clients interstate. Changing the name was the first step in shifting the brands focus away from Value for Money.  The new name, Simply Gold Coast Property Advisors, leverages the destination and provided a nod towards their core vision of simplifying the buying process.

Shifting the focus to the location was a game changer. VFM was a traditional business model, and Simply Gold Coast changed the way consumers discovered the brand and interacted with it.

The business is focused on the Gold Coast region only. This meant that by promoting the destination we were able to sell the culture of living and investing in the location. The sophisticated and informative platform works as an onboarding process to connect directly with the desired target market, with the sales-heavy site only a click away.
